This advanced windsurfing course is designed for students who have completed a basic course or already possess foundational windsurfing skills, including safe upwind sailing and basic tacking. Over 5 hours of practical instruction, participants will develop advanced techniques essential for confident and independent riding in stronger winds. The course focuses on: 🔹 Fast tack – efficient directional changes in various wind conditions
🔹 Non-planing jibe – mastering controlled turns while maintaining board stability
🔹 Harness technique – safe and effective use of the harness 🔹 Beach start – introduction and practice of board and sail control in shallow water
🔹 Course sailing – improving sailing angles and optimizing body and sail position The course is taught by a certified VDWS instructor, following structured progression steps with personalized feedback. All equipment is provided, and training takes place in suitable conditions to ensure safety and maximum learning.
