About us
Hey there! We’re Mihovil and Alexis, the duo behind Surf Center Fažana. Our journey is a tale of wind, waves, and a shared passion for life on the water.
For me, Mihovil, windsurfing has been a way of life for over a decade. It all started in Bol on the island of Brač, where I first felt the rush of windsurfing. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to teach in some of Europe’s top windsurfing spots – from the iconic Lake Garda and the vibrant Greek islands of Naxos and Rhodes, to the wild waters of Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tarifa. Each destination taught me something new, and now I’m bringing all that experience back to the beautiful shores of Fažana.
Alexis, on the other hand, is the heart and soul of our beach vibe. She started windsurfing just two years ago but fell head over heels for the sport. After mastering the basics, she began teaching in Tarifa, where her infectious British humor and warm personality quickly turned every lesson into a fun, welcoming experience. Alexis has a special passion for working with kids and sharing her love for the sport with the next generation of windsurfers, creating an environment where they can learn, laugh, and grow in confidence on the water.
Now, we’re combining our skills, stories, and love for the ocean to create a surf center where everyone feels like part of the family. Whether you’re here to learn the basics, refine your technique, or just hang out and soak up the sun – we can’t wait to share our passion with you.

Our vision at Surf Center Fažana is to become the leading watersport center in Croatia, recognized for creating a supportive community where people of all ages and skill levels can discover and master the joy of windsurfing, wingfoiling, and SUP. We aim to provide world-class instruction, top-quality equipment, and the best possible conditions for every surfer.
