Our Story

At Surf Center Fažana, we’re more than just a surf center – we’re a family-driven community of ocean lovers. After years of teaching in top windsurfing spots like Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Tarifa, we – Alexis and Mihovil – are back in Croatia to share our passion for windsurfing and wingfoiling. We started Surf Center Fažana in 2024 to build a place where that passion can grow.

With thousands of happy clients and extensive international experience, we’re bringing our stoke and knowledge to the stunning coast of Fažana. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced surfer, we offer steady winds, calm waters, and expert instruction – the ideal mix for learning, progressing, and enjoying every moment on the water.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Surf Center Fažana! Our kids had an incredible time, and their excitement was contagious. The instructor was patient, professional, and excellent with kids. During their first lesson, our children learned so much that they were able to stand and steer on the boards independently by the end. I took a beginner course and had a great experience. Alexis and Mihovil are very friendly and knowledgable and bring a ton of experience which they like to share!
On the first day, we had a theory lesson and after that were already standing on the board.
After the three lessons, we were able to steer, perform turns and find the right angles in the wind.On the last day we had experience enough to rent a board and practice in light wind on our own!

We took the windsurfing beginner package lessons with Mihovil and Alexis and it was a lot of fun. Mihovil was a great teacher, very knowledgeable, technical and patient. We already felt more confortable on the board after the third lesson and good to ride to the open sea.
Alexis was also there to help to manage the lessons and she was always taking a lot of pictures and videos to share with us at the end.
Great experience, highly recommended. Would definitely come back!
